Huntsville Ballet’s 60th Anniversary Season continues with the Dancer's Choice Series
Performances are scheduled for February 23-25, 2024 at Huntsville Ballet Studios. Tickets now available.
HUNTSVILLE, AL — New for our 60th Season, Huntsville Ballet presents Dancers’ Choice. This new series of educational, in-studio performances gives our professional dancers the opportunity to choreograph and perform in genres of their choice. The intimate setting of the studio has proven to create an immersive, interactive experience which, according to Artistic Director Phillip Otto, “is equally enjoyed by both the ballet enthusiast and the novice.” Performances will include classical variations from ballets such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and Le Corsaire, as well as new works by Phillip Otto featuring Principals Abby Callahan and Nathaniel Otto. Each performance will conclude with what has become an audience favorite - the opportunity to meet, take photos with, and ask questions of the dancers and directors. Given the nature of the performances, seating is limited.
