Our Brain Dance class for adults will increase focus, balance, core strength, body awareness and coordination. Performed in a calm and flowing pattern to relaxing music, the movements release stress, improve range of motion and encourage oxygenation and mind/body connection. This class is for adults of all ages and physical abilities- no dance experience required!
The Brain Dance is a movement series composed of eight developmental patterns that healthy human beings naturally move through in the first year of life. Cycling through these patterns at any age, daily or weekly, while sitting or standing, has been proven to be beneficial in reorganizing our central nervous system. Repeating these patterns over time may help fill in any missing gaps in our neurological system due to illness, environment, head injury or cognitive decline.
